SPF

Even in the coldest Winter day, skin receives UVA/UVB rays. Think of the “B" in UVB as “Burning", we are most familiar with this type of sun damage. Think of “A" in UVA stands for “Aging", and while you don’t feel its heat or its ’burn’ it’s the most responsible for aging skin prematurely. Furthermore, skin cancer is our biggest concern with UVA/UVB exposure.

SPF 50 blocks 98% of UVB rays, while SPF 30 blocks 97%, therefore SPF 35 is the optimal protection. More SPF would only mean more ingredients that could block pores and yield a heavy finish without any considerable benefit.

POLLUTION AND RADIATION

Our skin is exposed daily to pollution from air particles (vehicle emissions, dust and ash from factories,) blue and white light from laptop/computer screens, mobile phone screens, tablets, fluorescent and LED lighting. Studies show that radiation and pollution ages skin, damages collagen which can result in the appearance of saggy skin, and promotes dark spots and uneven tone. The RADIANCE SUPERBE DAY CREAM SPF 35 includes a long list of super-antioxidants to sustain skin wellness and help scavenge free radicals such as pollution and radiation.
